About Our Partners
Charlie Willhoit – President
Charlie founded IWP in 2004 to serve his own family, building on his professional philosophies as an advisor and his personal demands and experiences as a wealth management client. Before establishing IWP, Charlie spent several years as a principal and owner helping run a $500 million multi-family investment manager that was servicing his family. Prior to entering the wealth management industry, Charlie spent eight years at J.P. Morgan where he became the firm’s youngest senior equity research analyst. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College with a B.A. in Economics with minors in Finance and Political Science. He is Series 65 licensed.
Kevin McCabe – Partner
Kevin joined IWP after 15 years in consulting, real estate, and private equity. Most recently, he was an executive with MBH Enterprises, a Denver based diversified holding company with ten operating subsidiaries, working in concert with the Company's operating partners to enhance profitability and performance. Prior to MBH, Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer of Klingbeil Capital Management (KCM), a privately owned real estate investment and management company, with 8,000 apartment units located in California, Colorado, Florida and the Midwest. Kevin earned a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a M.B.A. from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management. He holds a Series 65 License.
Chris Dzurinko, CFA – Partner
Chris joined IWP after 10 years working in the institutional equity, real estate, and private equity sectors. Before joining IWP in 2006, Chris was the senior financial analyst for The Alta Group, a private equity firm. Prior to that, Chris was a senior equity analyst at American Technology Research and spent 5 years in equity research at J.P. Morgan and CIBC. Chris also served as a senior consultant with Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Consulting practice conducting valuation analyses, strategic planning, and transaction due diligence. Chris graduated from Pepperdine University, Summa Cum Laude, with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance and is a CFA charterholder.
Ken O'Brien – Partner
Ken joined IWP after working as the Director of Investor Relations for Asset Management Consultants. Prior to AMC, he created and served as a principal of a 1031 exchange accommodating company from 2003-2008, Capital Exchange Services. Ken was the quarterback for the New York Jets for ten seasons in the mid-1980s and early 1990s. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997 and graduated from the University of California Davis in 1983. Ken has his Series 65 and plays an integral role in working with IWP's professional athlete and management clients.
Jayne Ford – Partner, Business Development
Jayne joined IWP after 15 years in finance, agribusiness and management consulting. Prior to joining IWP, Jayne was the Recruiting Director for ghSMART & Company, Inc. The firm offers consulting in the areas of management assessment and leadership coaching. Clients include leading private equity investors, hedge fund managers, Fortune 500 boards and senior executives. Prior to ghSMART, Jayne was Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Shawnee Milling Company. Early in her career, Jayne was the Chief Administrative Officer for Corbin & Company Capital Management and also worked as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst for NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. Jayne holds a MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University where she graduated cum laude.
Tammy Ward, CFP® – Partner, Client Service
Tammy joined IWP with 11 years of experience in the wealth management business. Most recently, she served as the Director of Client Service at a multi-family office located in Boston, MA. Prior to that, Tammy was an analyst at Fidelity Investments, where she was responsible for reporting, financial analysis, and trading for family office clients. For six years before that, she was an associate to the portfolio management and financial planning divisions of a multi-family investment management firm. Tammy received her BA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, her MS in Financial Planning from Bentley College McCallum Graduate School of Business, and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. She is Series 65 licensed.
Stephanie Bowers – Partner, Client Service
Stephanie joined IWP with 6 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously she was a financial associate with a nationwide wealth management firm, assisting with financial planning, client services, trading, marketing, and account research. She holds both Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. She graduated from the University of Denver, Magna Cum Laude, with University Honors and a BSBA in International Business with a minor in Finance.
Amy DeMoranville – Client Service
Amy joined IWP in 2015 after working for Janus Capital Group for more than 14 years. She started as an investor communications representative working with Janus’ retail investors. She then moved to the investment research team on the equity side and performed research primarily on stocks in the consumer and healthcare sectors. She was also responsible for portfolio analytics for Janus Funds, SMAs and private accounts. Amy graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Psychology and is Series 6 and 63 licensed.
Elizabeth "Izzy" Murdy – Client Service
Izzy joined IWP Wealth Management after completing her Masters in Business at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to business school she worked at Qwest Communications in their Digital Media Talent Acquisition group. Izzy graduated from the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business in 2009.
Kelly Ann Parker – Client Service
Kelly joined IWP with a background in customer service and office operation management. Prior to joining IWP, Kelly worked for retail and marketing firms in the Denver area. She graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Apparel and Merchandising.
Jaye Everland, CFP® – Client Service, Private Client Advisors
Jaye joined IWP Private Client Advisors in 2013 after working in the wealth management industry for more than seven years. She began her career at IPS Strategic Capital in Denver, CO, servicing investment management clients and implementing portfolio designs. Throughout her career Jaye has been responsible for developing comprehensive financial plans, managing the business operations of a private wealth management firm, monitoring and trading investment portfolios, and designing corporate pension plans. She is a graduate of the Metro Denver Chamber Leadership Foundation’s Impact Class of 2008, a member of the Financial Planning Association and Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable, and has served on the boards and committees of Metro Denver Partners, World Denver, Friendship Bridge, and the Denver Athletic Club Women in Business group. Jaye is Magna Cum Laude graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, a Certified Financial Planner and Series 65 licensed.
Alec Garza – Client Service, Private Client Advisors
Alec graduated from the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business with a BSBA in Finance and minors in Accounting and Spanish. He is Series 65 licensed.
Kelly O'Brien – Client Service, Private Client Advisors
Kelly joined IWP as a client support manager. He graduated from Fresno State University with a B.A. in Finance.
Jeff Ziese – Accounting
Jeff joined IWP with 21 years of accounting experience. Most recently he was an independent accounting consultant for several Denver based companies. Jeff holds a BA from the University of Colorado.
Nina Beltran – Accounting
Nina joined IWP after working as a bookkeeper/accountant and property manager for a local privately owned real estate company. She graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelors in Psychology and minors in French and Religious Studies.
